The campsite Galeb is situated in Omiš, in an extremely attractive location at the mouth of the river Cetina where it flows into the sea. With sports grounds, a sandy beach and the sea, it is an ideal combination for spending your holiday and free time. It is only 20 km from Split, where a train station, ferries and an airport are situated. The offer of catering facilities, the possibility to participate in sports activities and the entertainment programme will make your holiday entertaining.

The Beach
Alongside the campsite stretches a wide, shallow, sandy beach, which is especially suitable for families with small children. It has a fenced swimming zone all along, and on one side boats are allowed to enter.During July and August, agreat deal of the activities programme is conducted here, such as aerobics and aqua-aerobics. Beside the beach and close to the children’s playground, a mini-club is organized where children can, besides other activities, learn to swim with help of animators. The constant presence of life guards offers carefree swimming for everybody, even to the least skilful swimmers. The ability to rent parasols and deck chairs is just one of the beach’s offers. If you are keen on sea sports, especially wind surfing, also on offer is the possibility of hiring a surf board or participating in the wind surfing school.
You can hire a boat and make a trip to some of picturesque bays on the island of Brač, or go for a boat trip up the canyon of the Cetina River.
An additional possibility on the beach is the hire of a jet-ski or a pedal boat. At the end of the day you can go and get some refreshments in our restaurant, Brguja, which is located on the beach. With its rich offer of food and drinks, it will please even the most demanding guest.

THE CANYON OF THE CETINA RIVER

• The canyon stretches from the mouth of the Cetina River in Omiš and travels 10 km upstream;
• It is a geo-morphological phenomenon formed by the river Cetina and it is a typical karst river;
• The canyon is 300 m deep and the river is surrounded by rich vegetation and a few small, but beautiful, islands;
• At some spots the river flows fast, and elsewhere it is quite calm, so it is an ideal place for relaxation, as well as for numerous sports activities such as rafting and canoeing.

THE ISLANDS BRAČ & HVAR

• All-day trips to the nearby Dalmatian islands of Brač and Hvar.
• Brač: visiting the town of Bol, famous for its wonderful beach Zlatni rat,
• Hvar: an island with a rich cultural heritage and very beautiful scenery with lavender fields.

Mobile home: there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, a living room with a kitchen (complete with tableware, a cooker, a refrigerator etc.) and a bathroom. The Mobile home has an outdoor seating set and a parasol.
