Živogošće, where the campsite Dole is located, is an ideal place for those who want to enjoy beautiful and unspoiled nature, crystal blue sea, and, at the same time, spend active holidays. There are many sports activities available nearby, and the Biokovo hills are welcoming. The location of the camp allows you to visit famous cities: Split, Dubrovnik, Mostar, or nearby islands: Hvar, Brač, Korčula, and many others. You just cannot be bored here.

Location The camp is located in the village of Živogošće, 7 km from the town of Drvenik and 25 km south of the city of Makarska.
Beach 700 m long pebble beach with pine grove next to it.
Sport Hiking, mountaineering, running, cycling, fishing, boat rental, bicycles, water sports.
Pets Pets are allowed in mobile homes and are a subject to surcharge.
Wi-Fi Payable internet connection is available at the campsite reception.

There is a restaurant and fast food bar, bakery, fruit and vegetable store, a small self-service shop, and souvenir and tobacconist shop available in the campsite. You can also visit nearby villages, vineyards, lavender fields, olive or orange plantations.

Just below the mobile homes, some of the pines on the beach, there are about 700 meters of beautiful pebble beaches.

Culinary Offer

Dalmatian prosciutto is the most popular delicacy. We recommend fresh fish, delicious cheese, which is perfectly combined with homegrown olives, and authentic Dalmatian wine. Homemade ice cream is obligatory for all gourmets, together with the Makarska Rafiole and Makarana cake with almonds, citrus fruits, rum, and maraschino.

Daily Trips & Activities

Makarska is an excellent starting point for many excursions to islands of Hvar, Brač, Korčula, and to visit Dubrovnik, Mostar, Medjugorje, etc. The picturesque churches and Illyrian tombs in Živogošće are testimony to the place with a rich history. During the season, this is the place of numerous cultural events and outdoor concerts.

Bike rental is available at the campsite, tennis courts are nearby. Makarska Riviera offers long walks or runs by the sea, while the Biokovo hills are excellent for hill walking and hiking.

Within the hotel complexes at Živogošće, there is a sports centre on the beach, where numerous water sports are organized, as well as boat rentals and water scooters, fishing, sailing. There is a diving centre near the camp.

There are numerous animations for children available throughout the Makarska Riviera. An attractive tourist train drives along the coast, which is the only means of transport along the coast, apart from bicycles.
