Basilica of Saccargia
A church is the most important Romanesque site in the northern part of the island of Sardinia. The construction is entirely in local stone - black basalt and white limestone, with a typical appearance of Tuscan Romanesque style.
It is a stalactite cave near the town of Alghero on Sardinia. The entrance to the grotto lies only around a metre above the sea level at the foot of the 110 m high Capo Caccia cliffs and the cave can therefore only be visited when the waters below are calm.
Molentargius - Saline Regional Park
A regional park, a wetland located over an area of about 1600 hectares, established in 1999 with the aim to protect and enhance a site of international interest because of its relevance as a stopover, wintering and nesting location for waterfowl bird species.
